"We shape our buildings and afterward our buildings shape us." quoted British politician Winston Churchill. What kind of practices make a work environment ideal? How do you design aesthetically pleasing, sustainable buildings and urban redevelopment with respect and care for public spaces?

What is needed in order to ensure modern and dignified working conditions? And how can you implement initiatives, programs, and commitments that contribute to professional and personal development while also providing the opportunity to evolve into the best version of yourself?

DIMAND Real Estate Development is one of the leading companies that invests in its people, with everyone sharing a common vision: “The company’s growth is realized through the development of its human resources.” Over the years, it has provided a dynamic work environment with an emphasis on innovation and collaboration, while also developing attractive workspaces. It not only invests in the design of workplaces but also in the well-being and productivity of its employees.

“DΙΜΑΝD’s core is its people. This year we are celebrating 20 years of presence in the market, and we are proud that many of our employees have stayed with us since the beginning of our journey, while new members continue to join our team.”

Modern workspaces focus on personal experience
We are experiencing a period where employees’ demands are changing, employers are facing new conditions and remote work has entered our lives. What could serve as a source of inspiration in order to create innovative and exciting workspaces?

“In the past few years, work experience has changed radically. The pandemic suddenly pushed us all into a remote work model, which was initially difficult for many businesses. Within a few months, we learned how to collaborate remotely, operate digitally and adapt to an entirely different work environment. Today, the challenge is different: how do we bring employees back to the office, but in a way that adds value? It’s not enough to simply say ‘return’ – people want an environment that inspires them, offers comfort and facilitates collaboration.”

“Therefore, when designing workspaces, we no longer just think about square footage and desks. We consider how these spaces will come to life, how they will adapt to modern needs, and how they will make the physical presence in the office a real choice, not an obligation. For this reason, our inspiration derives from the dynamics of modern work culture and the constantly changing needs of professionals,” says the COO of the DIMAND Group, Olga Itsiou.

DIMAND is a Group that, lately, has been creating future landmarks, contributing to the development of multi-purpose facilities, and continually completing new buildings of high specifications. Are there, therefore, best sustainability practices in the real estate development sector? “Sustainability for us is not just a choice – it is a commitment that shapes every project we undertake. We were among the first in Greece to recognize its importance, and as early as 2013, with the Karela Office Park, we created the first green building in Greece, which also received LEED Gold Certification. At that time, sustainability was still in its early stages in the country, but for us, it was already clear that the future of real estate development needed to change.”
