DIMAND, for yet another year, participated in and supported -as a major sponsor- Prodexpo North 2022, the most important conference for real estate development in Northern Greece.

DIMAND’s CEO Dimitris Andriopoulos and COO Panos Panagiotidis, participated in discussions with city authorities and company representatives, presenting the company’s investment plans with an emphasis on Thessaloniki, where DIMAND is a leading player in the major project of the redevelopment of the city’s Western Entrance.

Mr. Andriopoulos, stressing once again the necessary cooperation and trust established between the public and private sector, suggested that the special urban planning for the Western Entrance should be prepared by the private sector, in order to speed up the procedures. He also referred to DIMAND’s ambitious project in Thessaloniki, Hub26. “We are implementing, together with GEK TERNA, a very interesting office project, which respects the landmarks and the history of the area, in order to bring new visitors and new companies to the city” he emphasized.

The company’s COO, Panos Panagiotidis, speaking in the session “How the real estate industry can help cities build their climate neutrality”, mentioned in detail DIMAND’s “green” practices.  In fact, he referred to the project of the Tower of Piraeus as well as the “Papastratos” ex tobacco industrial facilities. “We, at DIMAND, go a step further from our investments, outside our buildings, into the urban environment. We will apply this practice to the investments we are implementing in Thessaloniki”, concluded.
