The conference brought together distinguished professionals and experts from Greece and across the European Union, creating a dynamic environment for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
DIMAND was represented by Evangelia Gklezakou, Senior Sustainability Manager, Konstantinos Simos, Senior MEP Project Manager and Konstantinos Chondrodimos, Project Manager, Civil Engineer M.Sc. The central focus of their participation was HUB 26, the first large-scale business park in Northern Greece, which was highlighted as a benchmark for modern sustainable development.
Key challenges of the project were presented, spanning from design to construction and the coordination of multiple disciplines. In this context, the technical and organizational requirements were emphasized, along with the critical role of MEP solutions in shaping a modern and functional business environment.
Particular emphasis was placed on the decision to pursue LEED certification, which significantly influenced all phases of the project. This choice introduced new requirements in both design and construction, ultimately impacting the commercial value of modern developments.
In a market like Thessaloniki, the development of certified buildings is now a strategic choice, contributing to the creation of high-quality infrastructure and enhancing the city’s attractiveness for modern investments.
