With a sense of responsibility and solidarity, we actively support the initiatives of the “Runners of Hope” Association and the members of the “Lighthouse for the Blind.”
By providing a high-quality aluminum wheelchair from HOYT (USA)*, our company’s representatives ran together with a child with disabilities at the 1st Zero Discrimination Run organized by the “Hope Runners” Association on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at OAKA Stadium.
As part of the fight against discrimination, with the goal of promoting inclusion, our company also sponsored the participation of members of the “Lighthouse for the Blind” in an Archery competition held as a parallel event at the Olympic Stadium. Individuals with visual impairments had the opportunity, after training at the Karea Sports Club, to compete in this challenging sport and demonstrate their strength of spirit in achieving their goals.
We commit ourselves to continue being supporters of such initiatives and actions, relying on the principles of inclusion and social justice, in order to combat discrimination and establish the values of a society that treats all individuals equally.
*The HOYT wheelchair is primarily suitable for asphalt roads, and its precise trajectory is ensured through multiple laser checks and personalized balancing. It features pulling and parking brakes and can be towed by a bicycle using a special attachment. Additionally, it is equipped with memory foam cushioning and storage pockets for a more comfortable experience for children with disabilities. It can be fully disassembled for easier storage and shipping worldwide.
