Commercial uses will be developed across a buildable area of 10,195 sq.m., creating a vibrant space for retail and services, while tourism facilities, with a total area of 46,059 sq.m., will further enhance the attractiveness of the area as a destination for hospitality and leisure.

The development is located in a strategic location, very close to the New Heraklion International Airport of Crete in Kasteli, significantly strengthening the area’s connectivity and creating strong prospects for attracting visitors and investments.

With a strong focus on sustainable development and the creation of new experiences for both residents and visitors, the redevelopment of Gournes is expected to make a meaningful contribution to the economic and social development of the area, positioning it as a new hub of activity for the wider region of Crete.
