We visited the ActionAid Community Centre in Kolonos for a unique experiential activity focused on water, nature, environmental awareness, and strengthening our sense of community.

Together, both young and old, we created our own terrarium — a small, personal “green world” that reminds us of the importance of care, balance, and our connection with nature.

We talked about water and its value as one of the planet’s most precious natural resources, as well as the importance of using and protecting it responsibly.

Through creativity, team bonding, and learning, we also had the opportunity to discover firsthand the important work of ActionAid and its contribution to supporting vulnerable communities, as well as its educational initiatives in schools across Greece.

For us, sustainability is not only about the environment. It is about people, society, and the relationships we build together.
