This year, DIMAND supported the work of “Symplefsi”, helping strengthen schools and local communities on the remote border islands of the Aegean Sea.

Through this initiative, educational and technological equipment was provided for the benefit of the Municipality of Psara, as well as the schools visited by Symplefsi as part of the 2026 Aegean Crossing (Diaplous), including those on Sikinos, Folegandros, Iraklia, Donousa, Thymaina, Fournoi Korseon, Oinousses and Psara.

Olga Itsiou, Vicky Anagnostopoulou, Evangelia Gklezakou and Liana Basta, representing the company, traveled with Symplefsi to Oinousses and Psara, taking part in an experience of great significance and meaningful social impact.

Through initiatives like these, we are reminded of the importance of connection, giving back and being present for communities located far from major urban centers.
