The award was received by the CEO of DIMAND Group, Mr. Dimitris Andriopoulos, from the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Stavros Papastavrou, during the ceremony that honored companies with a significant positive impact in the economic, social, and environmental fields.
In his speech, Mr. Andriopoulos stated:
“I want to begin with a big thank you. To all the employees of our company, directly and indirectly, for this success. A success that coincides with the celebration of our 20 years of activity in the sector.”
He then highlighted two key facts that clearly demonstrate what a “green building” means for DIMAND:
“Based on statistical data from our buildings, we have managed to reduce water consumption by 40%. This was achieved without any compromise in meeting the needs of the people living or working inside these buildings. In a year when water scarcity is a constant topic, it is important to remember that a ‘green building’ is not just a title but contributes substantially to many critical issues.
Furthermore, all our buildings over the past 16 years consume approximately 86 kWh per square meter, compared to older, conventional buildings that consume about 186 kWh. This represents a tremendous energy saving.”
At DIMAND, we continue to invest in projects that respect the environment, strengthen local communities, and shape a future that is more resilient, more human-centered, and greener.
