At this year’s Aluminium in Architecture Awards that took place on the 21st of March, the architectural office ASPA Design received the GOLD award in the ‘Offices’ category for the architectural design of KAIZEN Campus, the office complex developed by DIMAND in Maroussi. An innovative project of 14,500 sqm, which is targeting to be LEED Gold certified and stand out for its environmental footprint.
The evening ended with a triple distinction for the architectural office PILA, the designers of the façade of the Piraeus Tower, who also received the grand prize of the event ‘Architect of the Year’.
PILA, for the important project of the radical reconstruction of the Tower, which changes the shape of the area, won the GOLD and PLATINUM Awards in the Architectural Design & Construction Section, in the ‘Mixed Use’ category, as well as the GOLD Award in the ‘Sustainable Design’ category.
The nominations were evaluated by a jury consisting of renowned Greek architects and professionals from the aluminium industry. The chairman of the committee is the Architectural Engineer of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Christos Diplas.
